BME’s latest development in our emergency vehicle line is the Fire Rescue Patrol Boat.  The FRP26 is built with three purposes in mind – speed, safety, and performance. The top speed of the FRP is estimated at a whopping 55 mph powered by two Evinrude® 300 HP outboard engines. Safety was incorporated into the design with a front substructure that utilizes a sealed bulkhead with integrated closed cell foam.  This feature allows the boat to float and operate when the vessel has been damaged from a front or rear collision. Performance is enhanced by the following three features: 22.5 degree deadrise deep vee that allows the boat to perform in rough water and extreme conditions at speeds up to 35 mph. The front deck area can accommodate items as large as a two person UTV or a small skidster. Firefighting capability is enhanced by twin Akron® front monitors and a Darley® 64 HP Hercules portable pump.
