Job Skills / Responsibilities

  • Welding and installing water pumps, PTOs, drivelines, drive shafts, and chassis modifications.
  • Design, fabricate, and install brackets that hold fire-fighting equipment.
  • Chassis modifications – Frame modification, bumper extensions, and body mounts.

Requirements

  • Mechanical skillset, experience working with auto or truck modifications.
  • 1-2 years of mechanical or welding fabrication work or some vocational schooling.
  • Great attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Punctual and committed to the job.

Additional Information

This is a chassis/assembler position for a custom production shop, not an assembly line. Experience might include automotive/diesel customization/mechanical work, welding and other layout experience, or similar fabrication work.

Pay range: $16-22 depending on skillset, experience, leadership ability, and attitude.
