Job Skills / Responsibilities
- Welding and installing water pumps, PTOs, drivelines, drive shafts, and chassis modifications.
- Design, fabricate, and install brackets that hold fire-fighting equipment.
- Chassis modifications – Frame modification, bumper extensions, and body mounts.
Requirements
- Mechanical skillset, experience working with auto or truck modifications.
- 1-2 years of mechanical or welding fabrication work or some vocational schooling.
- Great attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Punctual and committed to the job.
Additional Information
This is a chassis/assembler position for a custom production shop, not an assembly line. Experience might include automotive/diesel customization/mechanical work, welding and other layout experience, or similar fabrication work.
Pay range: $16-22 depending on skillset, experience, leadership ability, and attitude.
