Salary: Pay Negotiable Based on Experience
Full-Time
The position of Plumbing Technician is responsible for performing plumbing and welding, and you must be able to assemble parts, install pipe, and weld using the GTAW process. You will be using hand and power tools to complete your tasks while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Job Skills / Responsibilities
- Install general plumbing systems and maintain/repair existing plumbing
- Monitors supply and equipment inventory
- Welding stainless pipe with the GTAW process
- Acid washing pipes before install
Requirements
- Proper safety gear for shop environment
- Able to use power/air/basic tools (wrenches, punches, etc.)
- Welding knowledge preferred
- Ability to read tape measure
- Basic math skills
Additional Information
- Interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, schematics, and other data pertaining to the objective
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Communicating effectively with coworkers and customers
- Work with a group of people effectively
Compensation: $18-$23 but varies by position, experience, leadership, and attitude.
