MIG and/or TIG Welder Needed! If you are a skilled MIG and/or TIG welder and fabricator, BME Fire Trucks has a position for you!
BME Fire Trucks is seeking skilled welders/fabricators with experience. We are a locally owned fire truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Job Skills / Responsibilities
- Mig/tig welding experience on mild steel, aluminum, and/or stainless.
- Be able to read blueprints of fire truck designs or parts.
- Great attitude and high expectations for the quality of your work. (Our trucks are used in life-or-death situations and are expected to perform).
- Physically fit – the ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and climb ladders.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Additional requirements for the Welder will include:
- Ability to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
- Will be required to pass a welding test.
