ATTENTION ALL CALIFORNIA FIRE DEPARTMENTS!
TYPE 3 FIRE ENGINES TAG-ON OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH CAL FIRE CONTRACT
The Department of General Services has chosen us, Boise Mobile Equipment, to manufacture over 30 Type 3 fire apparatuses for CAL FIRE. Tag-on opportunities are available for state and municipal departments in California. Many other departments have already tagged on.
To tag on, local departments may submit their own purchase order and send it to BME in any of the following ways:

State departments may tag-on using one of the following methods:
1) Std. 65 Purchase Documents
State departments not transacting in FISCAL must use the Purchasing Authority Purchase Order (Std. 65) for purchase execution. An electronic version of the Std. 65 is available at the Office of State Publishing web site: http://www.dgs.ca.gov/pd/Forms.aspx (select Standard Forms).
All Purchasing Authority Purchase Orders (Std. 65) must contain the following:
- Agency Order Number (Purchase Order Number)
- Ordering Agency Name
- Agency Billing Code
- Purchasing Authority Number
- Leveraged Procurement Number (Contract Number)
- Supplier Information (Contact Name, Address, Phone Number, Fax Number, E-mail)
- Line Item number
- Unit of Measure
- Commodity Code Number
- Product Description
- Unit Price
- Extension Price
2) FISCAL Purchase Documents
State departments transacting in FISCAL will follow the FISCAL procurement and contracting procedures.
